You should create a schedule to which you can follow each week. Your routine should be stepped up slowly. Without a schedule you might not get around to fitting it in to your day, knowing you have put aside the time makes you feel more accountable.

To get the best result you should vary your routine. An example could be to run a full 30 minutes at a normal speed, the next time you might run 40 minutes a little quicker. If you run for longer periods you can mix things up even more. You can also alternate between where you run, and by the number of hills. And you’ll want the maximum weight loss from your jogging timetable.

 If you want to lose 1 pound in a week you will need to burn 500 calories more than you consume daily. You can accomplish this either with just jogging or with a combination both
